My experience with the KNM exam (passed)

Last month I took the KNM exam and I passed. Maybe my experience will help someone.

The exam is on the computer and lasts 45 minutes. You get questions about topics such as housing, work, and income. For me, the time was enough. I was done after about 30 minutes.

What I did for the exam

• I did the 2 free KNM practice exams on inburgeren.nl. Really do it. The style of the questions is the same as in the real exam.
• Study 20 minutes every day. Short sessions work better for me than one long day.

Practical

• The exam costs € 50. You register with DigiD via Mijn Inburgering.
• Arrive on time. They checked my ID at the entrance.
• You get the result within 8 weeks. For me, it was already visible earlier in Mijn Inburgering.
