About Inburgering.org
I moved to the Netherlands in 2019 and went through the inburgering process myself. I remember how confusing it could feel: understanding the rules, preparing for the exams, dealing with official letters, and trying to build a normal life at the same time.
Since then, the Netherlands has become my home. I completed my integration journey, became a Dutch citizen, and learned a lot along the way β not only about the language, but about how the system works and what people actually need when they are preparing.
I also grew to love this country: its nature, its orderliness, the friends it gave me, its support for human rights, its welcoming culture, and the opportunities it made possible. That experience shaped how I think about integration. It is not only paperwork or exams; it is the process of building a real life here.
I created Inburgering.org to make inburgering preparation clearer and more practical. My goal is to help you understand what to expect, practice in a focused way, and feel more confident as you move through the process.
Inburgering is not just about passing exams. It is about learning how to participate, communicate, and feel more independent in daily life in the Netherlands. The exams matter, but so does feeling less lost while preparing for them.
This is an independent project based on personal experience, careful research, and a practical approach to learning. It is not an official government website, but it is built to help make the official process easier to understand.
If you are preparing for inburgering now, I hope this site helps you feel calmer, more prepared, and more in control. You do not have to figure everything out at once β just take it step by step.
