Picture questions in A2 Spreken test whether you can turn what you see into simple spoken Dutch. With one picture, describe the situation. With two pictures, choose one option and explain why. With three pictures, say something about every picture, often in order.
Use the words you know instead of guessing the name of every object. Make complete sentences and keep the answer focused on the question.
Short Answer
For A2 picture questions, look for people, place, action, and reason. Say what you see, answer the question, and add one opinion or explanation. For three pictures, mention all three images so your answer matches the task.
Differences Between the Picture Task Types
The number of pictures changes the answer job: describe one picture, choose between two, or say something about all three.
| Picture Task | Main Job | Useful Dutch Frame |
|---|---|---|
| 1 picture | Describe what is happening and add a detail or opinion. | Ik zie... De persoon... Ik vind... |
| 2 pictures | Choose one picture and say why you prefer it. | Ik kies plaatje 1, want... Plaatje 2 vind ik minder... |
| 3 pictures | Use all pictures and make a short story or list. | Eerst... Daarna... Tot slot... |
Details to Identify First
- Who: man, vrouw, kind, cursist, collega, buurman.
- Where: school, werk, winkel, keuken, straat, station.
- Action: koopt, praat, wacht, kookt, fietst, werkt, belt.
- Feeling or reason: blij, druk, gezond, makkelijk, goedkoper, dichtbij.
Example Answer Frames
- One picture: Ik zie een vrouw in een winkel. Zij koopt brood en melk. Ik vind dit normaal, want ik doe ook boodschappen in de supermarkt.
- Two pictures: Ik kies het eerste plaatje. Daar is het rustig. Ik werk liever rustig, omdat ik me dan beter kan concentreren.
- Three pictures: Eerst wast de man zijn handen. Daarna droogt hij zijn handen af. Tot slot gaat hij eten. Dat is gezond en schoon.
