Mijn Inburgering: what you can arrange and how to log in

Mijn Inburgering is DUO's online portal for people who are integrating in the Netherlands. You log in with DigiD, usually with the DigiD app or SMS verification. In the portal you can check your personal details, see which exams you must do, book A2 language exams, KNM or ONA, view A2 and knowledge-exam results, manage loans, read DUO letters and keep your contact details up to date.

• You need DigiD with SMS verification or the DigiD app to log in.
• Check your address, email address and phone number. DUO uses these details to contact you.
• Mijn Inburgering shows which exams DUO expects from you and at which level.
• For A2, KNM and ONA, you can choose the exam date and place in Mijn Inburgering.
• For A2 exams, DUO says you can change the place or date, or cancel with a refund, until 1 week before the exam.
• If you cannot log in, DUO provides paper forms for A2/KNM/ONA registration and loan applications.
• B1/B2 Staatsexamen NT2 registration uses the NT2 route through DUO/MijnDUO, while MAP and PVT go through the municipality.

Go to the official Mijn Inburgering login page and choose the DigiD login button. DUO says you need either DigiD with SMS control or the DigiD app. On the DigiD screen, choose the login method you already have set up. If you recently changed phone, phone number or app settings, fix that in DigiD first so the DUO login does not fail halfway.

Use Mijn Inburgering first when the task is personal to your integration file. The portal is useful because it connects official DUO information to your own situation instead of showing only general rules.

• Personal details: view and change contact details so DUO can reach you.
• Exam overview: see which exams you must make and which language level applies.
• Exam registration: book A2 language exams, KNM and ONA by choosing a place and date.
• Exam changes: change the place or date for A2 exams, or cancel in time if you cannot attend.
• Results: see A2 and knowledge-exam results after DUO has processed them; DUO also sends the result by letter.
• Loans and money: apply for a DUO loan, check the amount, view invoices and follow payment documents.
• Documents: view DUO letters, school contracts and some ONA tasks.

A common mistake is trying to do every inburgering task inside one portal. Some official steps live somewhere else.

• Staatsexamen NT2 B1 or B2: use the Staatsexamen NT2 registration route through DUO/MijnDUO.
• MAP and PVT: contact your gemeente. DUO says these participation steps are arranged by the municipality.
• A1 basisexamen abroad: this is a different route through DUO/Naar Nederland and the Dutch embassy or consulate.
• Urgent login problem before an A2 exam: use the DUO form or letter route early enough; DUO must receive exam-change letters 1 week before the exam.

First check the login method, not the inburgering file. Many problems are DigiD problems: the app is not activated, SMS verification is linked to an old number, the browser session has timed out, or the app does not open correctly on the phone.

• Open the official DigiD app or SMS verification help page if the login problem appears before DUO loads.
• Try a current browser and close old tabs if DigiD gives a timeout or app-opening error.
• If you need to register for A2, KNM or ONA and still cannot access the portal, use DUO's paper forms instead of waiting.
• For a loan application, DUO also provides a form if logging in to Mijn Inburgering does not work.
• If your expected exams do not appear, compare the portal with your PIP, DUO letter or municipality information before booking anything.
